Lambo's fans have temporarily forgotten about the new Revuelto, which replaces the Aventador with an electric powertrain, the Huracan's successor that is in the making, or the upcoming Urus PHEV. The reason is called Lanzador, and it is the brand's first-ever battery-electric vehicle.
Paving the Sant'Agata Bolognese marque's road to an all-quiet future, the Lamborghini Lanzador is named after a victorious Spanish fighting bull that wowed crowds thirty years ago. You won't mistake it for anything else, as it looks like the typical Lambo, with a pointy nose, sharp creases, a sloping roofline, muscular fenders, and an aggressive back-end design.

Described as a 2+2 GT with a high ground clearance, Lamborghini's Lanzador is nothing more than a concept at this point. However, it previews a production model, the brand's fourth, which is due in 2028. It remains to be seen just how much this study will influence that vehicle, as it has seating for four inside, three doors, and two electric motors.

Boasting a combined one megawatt of power, it has 1,341 brake horsepower, 1,360 metric, or precisely 1,000 kilowatts. Each of the two motors powers one axle of an electric all-wheel drive, and if the production variant stays true to these numbers, then it will probably be able to smoke cars such as the Tesla Model S Plaid and Lucid Air Sapphire. And it should, as this is an exotic machine, after all.

Now, besides the studio shots released during the online unveiling by Lamborghini recently, the automaker has now released some live images of the study. Taken during its public premiere at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in California, they show the Lanzador from multiple angles bathed in natural light. And we think this concept looks even more stunning in person. Hopefully, the Raging Bull will soon allow a select few to jump behind the wheel and give their feedback on it, even though it's nothing more than a study at this point, as that's the only way to find out if its grunt matches the looks.

In addition to the Lanzador, Lamborghini has other vehicles on display at the event mentioned above. The plug-in hybrid Revuelto is one of them, joined by the Huracan Sterrato, which is a jacked-up version of the normal V10-powered model. And last, but certainly not least, the ultra-popular Urus couldn't miss sitting under a hypothetical new spotlight, as the automaker brought it to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, in the Performante configuration. This is the top-of-the-line flavor of the super crossover, which set a new hill climb record at Pikes Peak for high-riding vehicles. The model posted a time of 10 minutes and 32.064 seconds, beating the previous record holder, the Bentley Bentayga, which did it in 10:49.902 back in 2018.
