Honda have reportedly decided not to sell the all-new Accord in Europe, considering the fact that it expects it not to sell very well, considering the fact that its predecessor didn’t do very well either. They are now busy launching the new CR-V, a much more important model for the Japanese giant, as it is closer to what European buyers are now looking for.
The addition of Honda’s all-new 1.6-liter i-DTEC engine will undoubtedly spur on sales, first being added to the Civic range, and afterward, making its debut in the CR-V, in the first quarter of 2013. Now, while it may be justified, this is still a strange move by Honda, considering the fact that the new Accord is available for purchase in Russia.
