Following the previous teasers, MV Agusta couldn’t hold it anymore and fully unveiled the amazing-looking F4Z made in partnership with Zagato. It looks like you need to be stinking rich to have one.
Although most of you will rush to see the gallery and drool over F4Z’s amazing lines and beautiful simplicity, bear with me for a second to hear about the bike’s story first.
The MV Agusta F4Z is not previewing any upcoming production version, sadly. According to the official release, the Italian motorcycle builder joined up with famous coachbuilder Zagato only to fulfill a Japanese collector’s order. The unnamed businessman works in the fashion and publishing sectors, is a motorcycle fan and also owns several rare Zagato cars.
“The design team of the Zagato Atelier had to tackle the challenge of creating a bike that would interpret the lifestyle of the customer, a young Japanese businessman, president of a holding with interests in the fashion and publishing sectors,” MV Agusta explains. “The starting point was the notion that a motorbike expresses its owner’s lifestyle a lot more than a car. Therefore, it was essential to know and understand the character, passions, and wishes of the person to whom the bike was destined.”
So, MV Agusta grabbed their top-shelf F4 model, took it to Zagato, where the design firm dressed the bike in a new shell that perfectly combines modern shapes and technology with a classic halo, creating a unique, timeless design.
The one-off bike looks stunning from every angle, and it will probably be seen in flesh and bone at an event in Chantilly on September 4th, as a previous MV Agusta Twitter post suggested. More info on that could be made available soon so stick around.
Not sure how much this project cost, but if I were a rich bastard I would buy an F4, ship it to Zagato and force them to do another F4Z, just like this one. I promise I’d stick a license plate to it, turn signals and ride it every single day.
