According to an MV Agusta forum, it looks like the guys in Varese are up to some really awesome deeds pretty soon, as we might just see the new F3 800 machinery in June.
According to more sources, MV Agusta are in a straight line for releasing a totally sweet supersport bike, dedicated to track enthusiasts and thrill-seekers. While the 800cc-class range engine means the future F3 beast will not be part of the official FIM racing calendar, this also means a hefty dose of extra power.
Rumors have it, the MV Agusta F3 800 will be loaded with an upgraded version of the three-cylinder F3 675, and it will produce significantly more power: 145 HP are expected, compared to the 128 HP of the existing machine.
The new bike is a grand declaration of war on Ducati's 848 and Suzuki's 750 GSX and is said to sport many of the actual premium engineering feats in MV Agusta's bikes: electronic traction control, ABS, ride-by-wire and all the goodness of the MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) technology.
Well, this is really awesome, and we can't wait to see the new machine, even though we figure out it will only be available in 2014, most likely.
