Ford Mustang was the best-selling musclecar in the United States last month, with the Blue Oval company delivering 5,376 ponies, a one percent increase compared to November 2012.
Main rivals from Chevrolet sold 5,068 Camaros in November, which marks an increase of 14 percent over the same month last year. Dodge, the third contender in the segment, made 2,757 customers happy in November with the Challenger, which went down 4 percent in year-over-year sales.
As far as year-to-date sales are concerned, Chevrolet Camaro is leading the pack with 75,552 units delivered through November. The Ford Mustang is just behind with 71,459 examples, while the Dodge Challenger is far behind with 48,590 units.
Despite selling fewer examples than its rivals, the Challenger is the only musclecar to post a positive year-to-date change, having sold 24 percent more examples in 2013 compared to last year. The Chevrolet Camaro is down 3.8 percent, while the Ford Mustang delivered 7.7 percent less units.
