The C8 Corvette doesn't have any celebrity owners yet, but there are plenty of YouTube personalities who've bought one. Vlogger and fitness coach Christina Khalil is one of them.
The appeal of the C8 Corvette is easy to explain. Chevy's mid-engined flagship sports car no longer attracts boomers in white shoes. Young celebrity YouTubers like Tj Hunt have also flocked to make content about this car.

The 26-year-old Christina doesn't specialize in videos about body kits and engine swaps. However, her channel occasionally featured content about her motorcycle passion. For about a year, she's been looking into sports cars and she checked out the old Corvette Z06 and a Jaguar F-Type.

The vlogger of Lebanese origin picked up the new Vette about two months ago and claims she had the world's first wrap job. Based on our coverage of the sports car, that might not be true, but the black and red livery inspired by the C8R is still pretty interesting.

Just after the lockdown ended, Christina jumped in the Corvette with her boyfriend and checked out the Santa Barbara views. The car got a little dirty, and she decided to wash it personally. The fact that it's white underneath the wrap reminds us of a previous video where an owner raises some pretty serious concerns about power-washing a new Corvette.

Apparently, water can get into the engine bay, and only time will tell if that becomes a huge problem. Not that the C8 doesn't have problems already. Owners have witnessed everything from ghost horns to build quality issues and blown transmissions.

But the fact that America makes a mid-engined sports car with almost 500 horsepower makes everything worth it. Tuners have been able to extra even more power, and we bet Christina is wondering what else she can do to her black and red machine.
