Mitsubishi's Green Credentials Will Be Proven at EcoVelocity

This year’s EcoVelocity Motor Show will feature the very best in no-compromise, low and ultra-low carbon vehicles and Mitsubishi Motors in the UK will be there in force at Battersea Power Station in London from September 8th to the 11th.

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has also teamed up with the Metro Newspaper to give a lucky reader the chance to win a brand new i-MiEV that would have otherwise set them back £23,990. To enter, you’ll have to use the running cost calculator on Metro’s website to see how cost effective running an i-MiEV is.

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK will showcase its green credentials with its Intelligent Motion range on display, including the first pure-electric vehicle to the UK market, the Mitsubishi i-MiEV. The EV that is based on the Japanese manufacturer’s i-car will be available for test drives on a specially constructed circuit at the EcoVelocity venue, Battersea Power Station.

Other low emissions vehicles that feature in Mitsubishi’s Intelligent Motion range available on display will be the Colt supermini, the ASX compact crossover, and the Outlander medium-sized crossover.

“We’re delighted to be taking part in the EcoVelocity event and have been working with organizers and partners to ensure that we highlight the practicality and importance of more efficient, cost-effective, lower carbon vehicles,”
said Lance Bradley, Mitsubishi Motors in the UK’s Managing Director.

“In the absence of the British Motor Show in 2011, EcoVelocity will be the most important and definitely not to be missed motoring event of the year, showcasing the best real-world cars for real-world motorists at a single location… It is going to be of great interest to motorists learning what the industry has to offer them right now and in the future,”
said event founder and organizer Giles Brown.
