One of the most expensive and exclusive 1:18 scale models of the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 Customer Racing Car will be available for purchase right from the Mercedes-Benz Accessories GmbH stand at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show.
Made by Minichamps, the scale model will be limited to just 197 pieces, a number which was most likely chosen from the SLS AMG's codename, which is C197.
Prepare some deep pockets if you want to buy one though, because each model will cost a whooping 249 Euros including VAT at the Frankfurt Auto Show. MB Passion says that's the recommended retail price, so we don't know if that value might increase if you buy it from somewhere else. Die cast model fans might buy it just for its exclusivity.
From what we gather every SLS AMG GT3 scale model from the limited edition run is a two-tone black/neon green, so you're out of luck if you had wanted something else.
