MINI Countryman Getaway Package Released

Since the warm weather seems to be on the right track, more and more people look to spend as much time as possible in the middle of nature. This is why car manufacturer MINI thought it was the perfect time to release the Getaway Package for its new crossover model, the Countryman, available starting September 2010.

The set includes two MINI Countryman seats, which are folding wooden chairs with a durable canvas surface in a Racing Check or Union Jack look, both in dark grey against a black background. They can also be converted into tables with the help of a wooden board.

Also included in the package is the MINI Five-In-One Cover in Chequered Flag design, which can be used as a poncho, sleeping bag, awning, picnic blanket and bed cover. Furthermore, the MINI Countryman Boots have a Union Jack/Rockstyle Print/Countryman design. The inside pattern of the black unisex Wellington boots feature the British flag on the inside.

The MINI Parka, a contemporary interpretation of the classic M51 Fishtail, is an olive-green unisex hooded jacket that can be customized with a selection of patches which can be attached on the left sleeve using a Velcro-type fastener.

Customers will be able to order the Getaway Package – as well as the other MINI Collection items – from the MINI Online Shop and at selected MINI dealers.

The new feature can be stowed into the vehicle’s dual-layer load compartment floor, which is separated from the regular storage space by a lid.
