The Driving Excitement Analyser from MINI Connected will blow your mind. It is obvious to the world, MINI drivers want to have fun, enjoy driving and are natural born party people.
That's why, MINI launched a new feature that is just amazing. The Excitement Analyser from MINI Connected will make sure you get the most out of your MINI. This new and innovative feature evaluates how you accelerate, turn, change gears and brake while driving. The results are then showed on the car's display in Experience Points that are awarded for driving sporty but safe.
This new feature is now offered in the already available Driving Excitement optional package and is part of the MINI Connected app that has recently been updated, the drivers being able to access it in their MINIs through iPhones.
However the new feature only congratulates and awards experience points to the ones that drive safely. That's the most important thing you have to do. For example, you get the maximum possible "Experience Points" for shifting up in less than 1,2 seconds. If you manage to do that, a "Perfect change up" message will be displayed on your in-car screen while effective breaking will show you the "Well-balanced braking" message.
On the other hand you'll get no points whatsoever for reckless driving. Violent breaking, tight and risky turns, or prolonged accelerations will only get you in trouble and the car's display will show a warning sign.
