Even though the MINI Countryman has been released just 3 years ago, the car has sprung up in people's imaginations. The most impressive (imagination that is) seems to be the Polish guys from Carlex Design.
They're reinvention of the Countryman is simply stunning. The whole idea came from the customer, a chain of steampunk restaurants and bars.
The interior is unbelievable. Almost everything has been changed or redone. The center of the steering wheel, the seats and the backseat armrest all now have clock-like elements fitted, giving the car a "skeleton watch" look.
The air vent covers, the steering wheel and all the clocks are now covered in copper foil. Those copper elements had to be hand-beaten into shape so there's no wonder that the car took 9 month to complete.
The interior is now covered with brown leather and Alcantara, while the backs of the rear seats have been covered with lacquered wood. The trunk is now all dressed up in fur and a powerful sound system was installed.
As for the exterior, the car is wrapped in black matte foil, contrasting with the copper look of the BBS wheels and the roof. It would take days to write down all the details that this Countryman has so the better thing to do, would be to have a look for yourself. Enjoy!
