Being a hotel valet must be one of the toughest jobs in the world. We’re not joking here, just think about it - an important part of your daily routine is to drive some of the top exotics in the word... at a maximum of 5 mph (8 mph) for way less than a mile , in tight spaces, with around 100 real and virtual eyes on you.
Well, it seems that certain people find a way around all that issues. According to a luxury4play forum post belonging to LLV John, a Miami exotic car rental, a customer accused a valet of driving 24 miles (38 km) around Miami in his rental supercar.
The aforementioned distance might not seem like much, bust considering it was all done on a Miami Saturday evening, it was like the car was being driven on a proving ground.
The rental company is now investigating the matter, with the GPS set to tell a big part of the story. All we know for know is that the vehicle is back at the garage in what appears to be a good shape, with the hotel offering to pay for the extra miles.
The company didn't mention the car that was kidnapped. but since they mention being worried about the clutch, we can assume we are talking about supercar.
