The pixels from the first (recorded) Lamborghini Aventador crash are still fresh in our brains. However, when we wrote about the accident, the details were still unclear. Well, now it seems that we have a name for the person that was behind the wheel: Thomas Glavinic.
We are talking about an Austrian journalist, who had been asked to take part in the Autorevue, an automotive magazine from the country, supercar supertest, as the magazine itself tells us (via carscoop.blogspot.com).

The accident took place on August 30: Glavinic was overtaking a long truck at the end of a car column, when the latter turned left. He hit the truck, with the car being sent into the ditch on the side of the road and hitting a metal pole from a fence on the side of the ditch. According to the magazine, the police investigation didn’t find clues of excessive speed.

Nobody was injured as a result of the accident, but the car suffered severe damage.
