The brand-new 2014 MG3 supermini will be showcased at the British F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, the Birmingham-based company announced today. Racing fans that will arrive at the Silverstone track this weekend will be able to see the new MG3 displayed in the Woodlands camping area, which is located just 250 meters from the F1 course.
Three different examples of the company’s supermini will spend the weekend at the famed track: Lady Grey with Shards graphics, Smokey Blue with Hope&Glory graphics, and White of the Tiles with Mod Oct graphics. Set to go on sale in September, the new MG Motor-built vehicle is already gathering orders, Guy Jones, MG’s sales and marketing director revealed.
“We have only just started to roll out the MG3 in the UK and already the reaction has been fantastic. We’ve even had people already putting their names down to secure one of the first cars. It’s distinctive, cheeky and will be a real fun car – the vast range of styling choices means the fun starts even when you’re ordering one. But at the same time it’s a very practical car and will offer one of the very best interior space packages in class,” Jones said.
Pricing for the 2014 MG3 will be announced in August.
