Mercedes Show How the Concept A-CLASS Was Created

People that don’t like Mercedes cars don’t really understand how the way they are designed makes you feel. Sure, the way in which they go about doing their business might be very German, but attention to detail is still important.
The Concept A-CLASS isn’t something new, but this video in which exterior designer Mark Fetherston and interior designer Jan Kaul talk about it is as fresh and interesting as can be. First off, the inspiration came from the aviation world and this shows in the flow of the lines.

You’ll get to see how the concept itself was put together, and we especially love the interior which is a skeleton that’s been covered in a special fabric.

The actual production version of the A-Class is likely to get a three-door version like this and the video reveals an interesting feature that could be seen on the road soon. The back window of the car slides up and down like it does on the Mercedes CL. Does your Scirocco do that?!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
