Mercedes Benz Unveils the Future of Connectivity

If you don’t want your social networking activities to stop when the engine of your car is started , than Mercedes might have an answer. Using the new Mercedes Benz Concept A-Klasse as a platform, a company executive tries to explains how the automaker wants to change they way you interact with your car.
Fancy words that we don’t care about, like "digital native" or "millenial," are used, but the idea behind the change is brilliant: just plug your phone into the car and it will transfer all the menus, setting, contacts and applications to that infotainment system on the dash. Basically, this will make the car’s device act and look like the smartphone you are familiar with.

While this looks like just a conceptual idea at the moment, an looks to be a couple of yeas away from actually coming to a showroom near you, we love the fact the the Germans have put their year to the ground and are actually listening to what people have to say and not just what top execs believe to be the norm. It’s only a matter of time before what you see in this video becomes reality.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
