With the McLaren 750S out, the 720S may be dead and buried, but certain owners are still interested in giving theirs a more personal touch. One of the latest tuned examples looks like pure automotive candy, and as much as we'd want to hate it due to the pink look, we can't. But that doesn't mean that we love it either.
Sitting in the purgatory of tuned supercars, this writer thinks, it enjoys its 15 minutes of fame courtesy of 1016industries on Instagram, which has released a few images of it, and there could have been more if you ask us. From what we can see, it has a tuned exterior and not much else, though we'd better delve into the modifications and see what's new.

Up front, it retains the stock bumper and doesn't feature a fat apron. There is an add-on on each side, between the headlamps and the wheels, and further back, it has a new front hood that appears to have been made of carbon fiber. New parts were added to the rear bumper, and it has a large wing for additional street credit – unless it was designed in the wing tunnel and improves the downforce.

Mind you, we would have ignored this McLaren 720S if it wasn't for the pink look added to certain exterior elements. The controversial color is joined by a few white accents and several black elements, most of which were made of carbon fiber. It rides on new wheels that sport a white look, which were wrapped in grippy tires from Michelin. And it is here where the modifications have ended, or so it seems anyway.

The interior is only barely visible in one of the images released on social media earlier this week and shared above in the gallery, and it has a white look to it. Chances are it came like this from the factory, but we could be mistaken, and it might actually bear the signature of a tuner. There's no way of knowing that, like there's no way of knowing if the owner gave it a bit more muscle. But even with the stock power, which is a bit more than advertised, the 720S is a beast.

Under full throttle abuse, the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine produces 710 hp (720 ps/530 kW) and 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. The thrust goes to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission, and the British brand's supercar takes only 2.9 seconds from 0 to 62 mph (0-100 kph) and 7.8 seconds to 124 mph (200 kph). The top speed stands at 212 mph (341 kph). Its successor, the 750S, is 30 hp (30 ps/22 kW) punchier, one-tenth quicker to sixty-two and taps out at 206 mph (332 kph).
