We know what you are thinking: “Didn’t Mazda unveil the MX-5 Super20 at last year’s SEMA?” Yes, they did, but they brought it back to the 2011 edition of the Las Vegas show in order to show off its new looks and color combination.
The new variant for the hardtop has been redesigned from the ground up to be, look and drive more aggressively, and instead of last year’s gray paintjob with orange and black accents, we have a new Hyper Orange Mica one with black accents. That’s much different, way to go Mazda!
The same 16-inch Enkei RPF1 twin-spoke racing wheels matched with Toyo Proxes RA-1 245/45ZR16 tires have been kept from last year.
Inside, the roll bar has been painted in the same sort of orange as the body and contrasts with the black leather seats with suede seat inserts and channel stitching.
If the Super20 was meant as a celebration of 20 years of MX-5 in the US last year, than why is still around a year later?
