It's not official yet (hence the rumor tag), but Italian website MotorBox got wind on the fact that Max Biaggi is expected to be one of the Superbike commentators for the 2013 season.
Biaggi is expected to replace Italian commentator Mauro Sanchini who has posted on his Facebook and Twitter accounts that it was not him leaving the Superbike, but the other way around. His declaration comes just before any other official data surfaced, but it leaves little to be guessed.

In 2013 both Superbike and MotoGP will be broadcast by Italia Uno, but starting with the 2014 season, Superbike will be watched on Mediasat, while the MotoGP will switch to Sky, and the future of TV commentators for the two series is yet uncertain.

Max Biaggi (41) announced his retirement from professional racing in November last year, motivating that his family was the main reason behind the move. 6 times world champion, Max Biaggi added that he plans to remain involved with Aprilia, though no details have been given. Is it possible that we may look at the future TV star Max Biaggi?
