If you were looking to get a new Aprilia sport bike but the price was a major drawback, get ready for some hefty rebates on the 2012 models. Aprilia makes a very aggressive move in the US and is looking to have as many bikes on the streets as possible, hence price cuts up to $4,000 ( €2,940).
Aprilia Tuono V4 R, the naked canyon-carving brute can be taken home for $2,000 less and is now $12,999 (€9.545), while the Aprilia RSV4 R APRC and RSV4 Factory APRC lose $3,000 and $4,000, retailing for $13,999 (€10,280) and $18,999 (€13,960), respectively.
Aprilia aren't cheap even in Europe, and having them sold across the pond raises a bit the bar. However, prior to officially announcing the new 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS and SBK Special Edition versions, Aprilia USA hopes to bring in more customers helping them to clear the dealerships' floors.
