Recently showed to the public, the Ducati 1199 Panigale RS13 racing monster has finally received official pricing: the €34,900 ($47,550). Not the cheapest bike around, but we're talking about a track-version of the acclaimed 1199 Panigale R.
The RS13 could be described as the basic bike when deciding to start a motorcycle racing team. Based on the 1199 Panigale R, thr RS13 ditches all the elements needed for a bike to be street-legal: headlights and blinkers mirros and all, receiving instead a full carbon fiber bodywork with enhanced functionality and making the bike even lighter.
So if you're a racing afficionado and have enough time, and for what's worth – money, the Ducati 1199 Panigale RS13 might be a very nifty toy for fast-paced weekends. However, you should know that the RS13 is still very far from what Dovizioso and Hayden will be riding in the 2013 MotoGP.
