O'Hara isn't just a luxury mobile home brand founded and owned by the nautical industry giant Groupe Beneteau but also a top innovator. The Dreamer is the latest expression of the company's unique "Garden Side" concept introduced in 2020.
The idea of glamping turned out to be a huge success, and it encouraged a new perspective on what a camping experience should look like. The French O'Hara brand is not only one of the oldest mobile house builders in France, founded in the early '90s by the couple who owned and operated the luxury boatmaking company Beneteau but also one of the most innovative. Its goal was to turn campsite living into an unforgettable experience where the highest comfort meets ultra-sophisticated styling and hotel-like elegance.

The Garden Side concept was introduced at a time when the entire world experienced deep isolation due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many people back then understood the value of being able to merge complete privacy with an openness toward the outdoors. This is what the Garden Side concept embodies – more than an ultra-luxurious mobile home, the dual-entrance layout allows guests to customize their outdoor experience in the deepest sense.

This collection includes mobile homes that feature a second entrance in addition to the classic one, which opens fully onto a gorgeous garden with a full terrace setup. The sophisticated, spacious living room becomes a portal to another world – on one side, it connects with the front façade and the road; on the opposite side, it leads into a private outdoor paradise in the form of a secret, fully furnished garden, for a more intimate outdoor experience.

The Dreamer, formally the 804 2CH model, is the most compact version in this unique collection. It's a little over eight meters long (26.7 feet) with a regular four-meter width (13.7 feet) and an interior height of 2.3 meters (7.5 feet). What makes it uniquely charming is that, despite its compact footprint, this two-bedroom home merges with the outdoors, creating the illusion of a much wider living space.

At the center of the house, an elegant and modern lounge area opens on both sides, effectively turning into an indoor/outdoor lounge. At the same time, the sophisticated styling brings to mind the classic elegance of some of the most luxurious hotels. The Dreamer is by no means meant to be rough and rugged. It invites guests to reconnect with nature while pampering them with sophisticated amenities.

The actual lounge section of this wide open-space area features a large, comfortable sofa set against a full-size wardrobe for extra storage. A wall-mounted TV, a modern coffee table, and multiple shelves discretely scattered around the room help create the classic, cozy ambiance of a high-end living room.

The gorgeous dining area is a wonderful surprise. The big oval table with four chairs is hit with natural light from all sides for the perfect romantic ambiance, not to mention the spectacular views. The heavy, elegant curtains and carpeted flooring add a glamorous touch, in perfect balance with the neutral color palette and clean aesthetics.

This spacious, versatile section of the home, which can also be easily turned into a third bedroom, houses the contemporary-style kitchen; it's not too big but equipped with all the basic appliances and fitted with high-capacity storage units that help keep everything neatly organized. The kitchen's proximity to the garden-side entrance also enhances the private outdoor experience, as the kitchen seems to be almost an integral part of the terrace setup.

The Dreamer's two bedrooms are a bigger master suite and a smaller children's room. The master suite is a gorgeous cocoon, outfitted sumptuously with full-width blackout curtains and elegant bedside tables and light fixtures integrated into the headboard. One of the most impressive features is the massive built-in wardrobe with sliding doors for optimal storage despite the overall small size of the room.

The smaller room is luminous and serene, fitted with two single beds and a large storage unit with built-in trays. The delicate fabric roller blinds are a lighter touch compared to the heavy curtains in the main bedroom and more appropriate for kids, even though this can also be used as a guest room.

An easy-clean bathroom completes the Dreamer's beautiful layout, designed to recreate the comfort of an exotic resort. In addition to the full-size shower cabin, it features a big vanity with an oversized mirror. The cabinets and lights are mounted on the wall in order to save as much space as possible.

The Dreamer boasts less than 30 square meters (323 square feet) of floor space but actually seems vast thanks to the innovative dual-entrance layout that opens fully onto a gorgeous garden with a full outdoor setup. Both compact and fully open, this two-bedroom version is easily adaptable to various campsite locations. The range includes a wide variety of options, up to a three-bedroom and two-bathroom model with the same dual-entrance layout.

The O'Hara luxury mobile homes are meant for professional owners. Individual customers can purchase pre-loved O'Hara models from private owners.
