Luxgen7, the Taiwanese MPV That Could...

The first ever Taiwanese auto brand, Luxgen, proved itself to other automobile manufacturers, shortly after it has made an outstanding international debut at the Dubai Motor show. In its home market of Taiwan, Luxgen even surpassed the overall sales volume of the entire Hyundai vehicle line-up with just a single MPV model, the Luxgen7.

The unexpected, yet welcomed success of Luxgen finds it roots in the company’s Think+ system, which combines HTC smart technology and Windows CE Automotive interface. Think+ consists of video and audio entertainment, telecommunication, GPS navigation, safety alerts, owner exclusive applications and system settings.

In addition to this system, Luxgen vehicles are also equipped with visual assistance technologies that enhance safety and driving comfort. For example, when the vehicle speed is under 20 km/h, the
360° surround imaging system Eagle View+ will display live images of the vehicle’s surroundings within a 2m range.

Moreover, the Side View+ system allows drivers to see the blind spot from the THINK+ screen. Night Vision+ with its high sensitivity camera can enhance the forward vision in the darkness up to 100m ahead with a 40m wide field of vision by displaying road conditions on the screen.

Furthermore, LDWS+ (Lane Departure Warning System) automatically activates at 60 km/h and above, scanning the road ahead to identify and locate the position of traffic lane dividers. Both audible and visible warnings are issued if the vehicle is moving too close to the divider without the turning signal being activated.

Luxgen, which stands for LUXury GENius, aims to promote its central concept to consumers: “A vehicle should be more than just a tool for transportation”.
