For those for whom the regular Lotus Exige V6S isn’t enough, they can rest assured as the famed British sports car brand has just announced the introduction of a hardcore version of the V6, called the ‘Cup’.
It made its debut at the Lotus Festival, at Brands Hatch and apparently, they will be doing a very limited run of only 20 units - if it does catch on, they will definitely make more of them.

Powering the Exige V6 Cup is the same supercharged 3.5-liter engine which powers the regular Exige V6 S, making 346 hp. Coupled with the 1080 kg (2380 lbs) total weight, its 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 3.5 seconds and top speed of 273 km/h (170 mph) is no surprise.

It also gets a raft of upgrades, including adjustable suspension and rear wing, special tires and an optimized front splitter, as well as a full racing harness, instead of regular seatbelts, along with other race-oriented mods.

Production kicks off in december and the car will be available in two flavours: ‘Track Day’ - £62,995 and ‘full-on Competition-spec” - £74,995.
