The 21 year-old drag racer Lizzy Musi lost control of her 68’ Camaro dragster during a qualifying round of Summit Racing Top Sportsman at the 2012 ADRL Spring Drags III at Bristol Dragway.
Her race car veered to the left unexpectedly and she was unable to get it straight again. The car turned onto its side and the got airborne and violently crashed into the sidewall. It was a close call, as her car nearly hit one of the camera operators who was standing just behind the left concrete wall and was forced to jump for his life.
Thankfully, nobody got hurt, but the crash is a memorable one, and we can analyze it in the multiple angle video posted here.
