Despite having its official launch in June on the 28th, a major step was taken today when the first (left-hand drive) dealer display cars arrived in the UK. The right-hand drive version of the Dacia Duster is due to arrive in late autumn 2012 with first deliveries taking place in January 2013.
The 22 cars delivered today will serve as showroom cars and will be used to give the UK buyers the first taste of what the car is like ‘in the metal’. Dacia’s two-model range consisting of the Duster and the all-new Sander will be sold through a network of selected Renault dealers as of January 2013.
The official pricing for the Duster will be announced at the end of June, and things are looking good for the Romanian budget-brand’s SUV as over 5.500 have signed up for Dacia’s newsletter within a few weeks.
