Renault’s Romanian low-cost Dacia brand is scheduled to enter the British market at the end of next year, with the carmaker set to be present in Renault dealerships.
The company will launch the assault on British customers relying on the Duster crossover (you can read our test drive with the vehicle here), which will be offered for under GBP10,000 and the Sandero sub-compact (follow this link for the test drive), which will retail for less than GBP7,000.

Customers will be able to choose between two engines, which will be offered on both models: a 1.6-liter petrol unit and a 1.5-liter diesel powerplant. Dacia is aiming to bring new customers in, rather than take some of Renault's ones away, targeting those who are looking for a used car, as well as people who want a low-cost car from other brads.

We'll remind you that the Dacia has been present in the UK in the early 90s, with the "original" Duster, which was a rebadged version of the Aro (another Romanian carmaker) 10 SUV.
