Liberty Walk Ignores the McLaren 750S, Tunes the Hell out of the 720S for SEMA

Remember the McLaren 720S that Liberty Walk teased last month for the 2023 SEMA Show? Well, it is finally ready and gracing the event's floor as we speak, sending racecar vibes.
Rather strangely, it wasn't the Japanese tuner nor its founder who shared these images on Instagram, by iamnotomoto and rohanawheels. The supercar features parts that were also signed by inozetek, like the paint finish, and it involved armytrix_official, antisocialsocialclub, and logitechg, too, in addition to other companies.

One thing that immediately makes it stand out is the Liberty Walk widebody kit. It comprises the fender attachments with a visible bolt-on design and the add-ons at the front, in the form of the new apron, sides, featuring new skirts, and rear, which is where the fresh diffuser stands, joined by a massive wing.

There are a few additional bits and bobs, too, including the light blue accents contrasting the black finish and the multiple decals that reveal some of the companies that were involved in the project. This McLaren 720S sits a bit closer to the road and comes with new alloys that feature a concave shape and a black finish. The tinted windows complete the makeover.

Since no images of the interior were released, it is probably safe to assume that this left-hand drive Macca retains the original features there. Nonetheless, we could be wrong on that, so don't take our word for granted, as it might sport a few tweaks in the cockpit as well. After all, this is a SEMA project, so it could occasionally open its doors at the event.

It is likely that the bi-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine was left stock. This would mean 710 hp (720 ps/530 kW) produced and 568 pound-feet (770 Nm) of torque. The regular McLaren 720S takes only 2.9 seconds to 62 mph (100 kph), the spec sheet reveals, and has a 212 mph (341 kph) maximum speed. Mind you, the supercar was found to be punchier than advertised on the dyno, so it is a bit quicker than that in the real world.

Besides this Macca, Liberty Walk has two other 720S supercars on display at SEMA. Rather strangely, the Japanese tuner chose to ignore the new 750S for now, which could be due to the fact that they couldn't get their hands on it yet. A comprehensive mid-cycle refresh of its processor, the 750S is 30 hp (30 ps/22 kW) more powerful, one-tenth quicker to sixty-two miles per hour, and has a 206 mph (332 kph) top speed.

Prices start at $324,000, before destination, options, and markups, in the United States of America for the McLaren 750S coupe, whereas the 750S Spider has a $345,000 MSRP attached to it.
