Lexus IS 350 Hits Australia

Lexus’ Australian arm has brought a new member to the IS family, allowing the customers to choose from a wider variety of models. The company has introduced the IS 350 version of the saloon to the country.

This model is being slotted between the IS 250 “civilian” version and the IS F power-mad incarnation of the IS. The IS 350 comes with a sporty flavor, as it is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 unit that brings an output of 312 hp and 378 Nm of torque to the game.

The vehicle has received the latest IS range facelift, which means that it offers a more aggressive front fascia, as well as new wheels to choose from. In addition to that, the revamp also brings fresh safety and comfort features that are aimed at underlining the vehicle’s premium status.

Customers can choose to fit the vehicle with two special packages. The first is called Sports Luxury and offers a balance between the two qualities included in its name, while the second uses the F Sport name and comes with a dynamic feeling.

“IS line is one of Lexus’ most popular ranges of vehicles, and IS 350 will add to the line’s appeal. IS 350 is an outstanding vehicle – it leads its competitors on power, performance, specification, price and value. Much like our first vehicle - the LS 400 - IS 350 will result in customers questioning why they’d pay 20 to 30 thousand dollars more for a similarly powered vehicle from our competitors,” explained Tony Cramb, Lexus Australia chief executive, comparing the new IS 350 with its competitors.
