Lexus Gets Named 2014 Most Trusted Luxury Brand by Kelley Blue Book

Only 25 years have passed since Lexus was born, but despite being a very young brand compared to other luxury automakers, it rapidly managed to catch up with and even beat them in certain areas, wining the heart of consumers and receiving award after award. It’s personality boom started last year, with the introduction of the new spindle grille along with a more dynamic and emotional interior and exterior design to match the previous build quality and reliability of its models. This of course translates into attracting younger buyers and increased sales.
And this year Kelley Blue Book again picked Lexus as top marque in its 2014 Brand Image Awards, as strong shopper perception of the ES sedan, RX crossover, IS sedan and LX 570 SUV helped the automaker secure consumer confidence.

The Brand Image Awards survey recognize automakers’ outstanding achievements in creating and maintaining brand attributes which manage to win new-vehicle buyers. The 2014 Brand Image Awards are based on consumer automotive perception data from Kelley Blue Book Market Intelligence’s Brand Luxury Watch study. Brand Watch is an online brand and model perception tracking study surveying over 12,000 new-vehicle customers annually on Kelley’s website.

KBB also named Lexus the brand with the lowest projected ownership costs during the first five years recently in the 2014 5-Year Cost to Own Awards.
