Lexus is more and more recognized among the top luxury brands and the things it achieved in only 25 years are absolutely astonishing. It managed to create a whole luxury range of different class vehicles (which is currently expanding) and even a supercar that amazed everyone.
The automaker is now trying to create some sort of hipster cult revolving its cars through nonconformist design, fashion, art and underground music, which is pretty awesome when you think its cars were addressed to middle-aged customers until now. And the new IS and RC models are those who set a solid base for the new wave of young customers to come.
However, it seems that even its less exciting vehicles are praised, with the Lexus RX crossover SUV being named the 2014 Best Car for Families by US News & World Report.
The RX 350 was named Best 2-Row Luxury SUV, while the RX 450h was honored as Best 2-Row Hybrid SUV, for making family life on road much easier and enjoyable.
Both models are available with front and all-wheel drive, while standard features include 40 cubic feet of cargo area, 12-speaker Display Audio system with backup camera and multiple connectivity, 60/40 split rear seats that slide and recline, 10 airbags and more.
The F Sport version packs an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters, tuned suspension, 19-inch rims and unique interior/exterior features.
Backseat passengers can also be entertained during the whole trip via the optional Dual-Screen Rear Seat Entertainment system which comes with a 120V AC outlet, audio/video inputs, dual wireless headphones and a DVD player with remote control.
