The British division of Lexus revealed today pricing details of the new CT 200h model, a full hybrid luxury compact that is already available to order, with first customer deliveries to take place in early 2011. Getting straight to the point, pricing for the new Lexus CT 200h starts from GBP23,485 (USD37,425 or EUR26,970) on the road.
The car will be available in three equipment levels, namely SE-I, SE-L and SE-L Premier. All grades come with the option of choosing between the 16-and 17-inch alloy wheels.
SE-I standard features include dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth, 17-inch alloys, push button start and LED daytime running lights. Moving on, the SE-L standard features include leather upholstery, heated front seats and front and rear parking sensors.
Finally, the range-topping SE-L Premier version adds cruise control, smart entry system, electrically adjustable front seats, 13-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, HDD satellite navigation, Lexus Remote Touch multi-function control and rear parking monitor.
A particular highlight are the LED headlights fitted as standard to the SE-L Premier and the availability of Lexus’s advanced radar-controlled Pre-Crash Safety (PCS) system and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). The CT 200h also adopts Lexus’s Remote Touch multi-function control, for simple and intuitive operation of ventilation, navigation, phone and vehicle set-up systems.
Powering the Lexus CT 200h is a 1.8-litre petrol-electric engine that reportedly delivers consumption and emission figures of 68.9 mpg (3.4 l//100km) and 96g/km respectively. The car’s direct competitors are the BMW 118d SE and Audi A3 2.0 TDI SE.
