Latitude in limited edition

After the 2006 success of the Latitude limited edition, Renault has now decided to come out with a new Scenic, which promises to have even more features than its previous limited edition predecessor. It is not an all-new Scenic per-say, but the old model, having a new equipment level. We are dealing with the Latitude package, which will be applicable to almost all Scenics, as well as to the Grand Scenic ( 5 or 7-seater), and is very similar to the Expression equipment level.

The only Scenic and Grand Scenic models that will not benefit from the Latitude package will be the ones equipped with the 1.4 16V 100 horsepower and the 2.0 Turbo 165 horsepower engines. Models equipped with the Latitude package will become available as of March 2007 and will cost EUR 100 more than the Expression equipment level.

What exactly will you get for this EUR 100? Well, on top of all the features included in the Expression equipment level, Latitude includes fixed glass panoramic roof, sliding central stowage and rear parking sensor. There is also a lot of engines to choose from with the Latitude equipment level, both petrol and diesel.

The list includes the 1.6 16V 110 horsepower with six speed manual transmission or four speed automatic, and the 2.0 16V 135 horsepower with six speed manual gearbox or four speed automatic transmission, for the petrol range and the 1.5 dCi 85 horsepower, 1.9 dCi 130 horsepower with four speed automatic transmission or with six speed manual gearbox, and finally the 2.0 dCi 150 horsepower with six speed manual or automatic transmission.
