Yesterday we talked about the truck driver who won a Lamborghini Murcielago and crashed it a few hours later, and now spicy details of the story have emerged.
It seems that David Dopp, the man in question might have had a reason for trashing his Raging Bull, as Jalopnik writes. It seems that Dopp found out that we won the supercar back in November and when he discovered that he would have to pay $100,000 in taxes for the prize, he decided to write a little post on Jay Leno’s Facebook page, trying to sell the vehicle.
The man told everybody he had won a 2008 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster, dressed in Verde Itacha, also explained his tax issue and the fact that the car is extremely impractical for him, a father of six and asked for advice of where to sell the vehicle. He also hinted that Jay himself could buy the Murcie.
Of course, this doesn’t prove that Dopp caused the accident to get the insurance money, but it sure does raise a few questions...
