To be honest, we’re not really big fans of fitting 18th century furniture into cars, but Rolls Royce seems to be the best at it. The luxury British car manufacturer has managed to impress even us with the level of detail and bold way in which their latest product has impressed even us.
It’s basically a special package for the RR Phantom aimed exclusively at the ever growing Chinese market. The Rolls-Royce Phantom ‘Year of the Dragon’ is actually a one-off that was built to commemorate the upcoming... well it’s obvious. The special saloon made its debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show back in November, and now they’ve also released a set of photos detailing what makes this car so special.

However, a production run of eight units has now been announced, all boasting a paintjob inspired by the Forbidden City. Gold inserts, plush leather and hand-crafted details - it’s probably going to be very expensive.
