Why would anybody want to drag race a Lamborghini Urus against an Aventador Superveloce? Well, the fun should be enough of a reason and we're glad to announce that we've brought along such a velocity fight for today.
The 650 horsepower SUV and the 750 hp supercar duked it out on an airfield in Sweden, with the race taking place during a high-velocity event that brought plenty of exquisite battles, such as this brawl involving a Porsche Carrera GT and a Ferrari F50.

You'll be able to check out the fight in the piece of footage at the bottom of the page, with this being the second race showcased in the clip. As for the first one, this brings together a Urus and... another Urus.

The video might not offer the perfect angle for checking out the entire length of the race, but this doesn't take away the spectacle of the Sant'Agata Bolognese machine encounter.

As for the aural side of the race, the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 of the Superveloce fills up the entire airfield, so we can't talk about a fight in this area.

Now, if this Urus go-fast adventure worked as an appetizer, we'll remind you that we've previously showcased multiple shenanigans of the sort.

For instance, here's another drag race that involves the Italian SUV duking it with a mid-engined toy wearing the Raging Bull badge. To be more precise, the Urus battled the Huracan LP610-4 and the race was better documented than the one we have here. Heck, the fight even went all the way by including both standing and rolling starts, so you can get a clear take on the matter.

With drifting being so popular nowadays, you might also want to know how the Lamborghini Urus performs the tail-out tasks. Well, here's an example of gravel sliding.
