Did anybody truly believe that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Well, we've brought along an example that proves the contrary. This adventure is all about drag racing, involving the hottest Japanese cars at the moment, namely the Nissan GT-R and the Acura NSX.
Keep in mind that we're talking about 2017 models here and while there aren't too many details to drop about the four-motor Acura (one internal combustion engine and three electric motors), we have to mention that Godzilla is here in Nismo trim.
This pushes the Nissan halo car's price through the roof, while also gifting it with spending time attack abilities. But, since we're talking about a straight-line battle, this is another story for another time.
Returning to the sprinting hostilities we have here; we'll mention that the two pieces of Japan duked it out on multiple occasions, with their drivers willing to reach a clear conclusion. As such, both standing and rolling starts were used, with each method seeing two races being held.
Keep in mind that we're talking explosive takeoffs here: while the R35 is famous for its AWD launch, the NSX also benefits from the instant electric torque.
Fortunately, the hostilities took place on the drag. And while this was not a drag strip, which meant the supercars didn't benefit from the prepped surface, at least they kept things on the safe side.
In our book, there was a clear winner here, but we won't go further into the details, as we don't want to risk ruining the giggles delivered by the video.
Note that both V6 toys came with cameras mounted on them, so you'll be able to get a complete view of the race (an aerial take is also included).
P.S.: You can jump to the 6:22 point of the clip for the racing action.
