Recent reports state this Gallardo successor will be called the Huracan, not Cabrera, as it was originally believed. Regardless, it's likely to feature an all-new engine, still a V10, but this time producing 600 hp and expected to meet the Euro 6 emissions standard which are coming in 2015.

The car has been seen throughout the year, testing along B-roads in Italy and more recently undergoing hardcore track development at the famous Nurburgring.

We believe the videos teasing something called "Hexagon Project" actually preview the Huracan. First details should come out next week, just before Christmas, with a full reveal expected at next year's Geneva Motor Show in March.
