Automotive test engineers must be a different breed of people, because they stand up to the worst weather conditions on Earth to give us tough cars. That's usually a simple case of putting on thick underpants and a winter coat, getting into a pre-production car and cranking up the heating, but BMW engineers seem to have it worse.
Our spy photographers caught them testing the new 4 Series Convertible in Northern Sweden, which is as close to the arctic circle as you can get, with the top down. One of them is sticking out of the back seat like a sore thumb, probably trying to photograph or film the convertible top.
The new 4 Series is just a few short months away from entering production, leaked internal documents suggesting this will take place in July. So this likely means more chicken soup and cold medicine for the engineers.
Editor's note: Whenever we have another tough day at work, we're going to think of this guy!
