Lamborghini Gallardo Wins Race on Fire

We’we all heard of burning Lamborghinis, but this is ridiculous. The owner of the highly modified Gallardo you see in the adjacent video was racing his car in Australia’s 2011 Targa High Country, when the supercar caught fire. He decided to move on as he was battling a Nissan GT-R for victory and crossed the finish line this way, winning the race in flames.
According to RallySport Magazine, Tasmanian Jason White had been driving the car in flames ever since he reached the half way mark of the stage, but he chose to risk everything for the win.

It was on fire from about the half way mark, but we thought it was best to get up to the finish where there were more fire extinguishers, rather than trying to put it out with ours. And obviously there was a win at stake so we just pushed on,” White was quoted as saying by the aforementioned source.
