One may assume that a supercar with four-wheel drive, such as the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4, is too difficult to use for hooning maneuvers such as donuts. Well, yes, that is correct, but only up to a point.
As the video above demonstrates, the Gallardo’s four-wheel drive system is rear-biased and thus you can induce a four-wheel drive burnout with a little effort. Lamborghini tells us that the all-wheel drive system of the LP560-4 sends 30 percent of the torque to the front axle, with the remaining 70 percent assaulting the rear one, adding that the distribution varies during “heavy right foot” moments.
As for the real-life translation of this, we’re inviting you to hit the “play” button above and enjoy the dessert. As you can see, the driver fights the car's tendency to understeer at times - the vehicle is set up in this way so that it's safer for inexperienced drivers- but he knows his way around the wheel and induces the slide without too much effort.
