Most official videos released by Ferrari don’t take things too far when it comes to turning tires into smoke and we don’t get past the “slight powerslide” level too often. However, the Prancing Horse recently released a clip in which a 458 Italia sends its tires straight to hell. So, why did the Italian carmaker offer us a burnout & donut 458 clip?
Ferrari did this to celebrate the fact that its Facebook page reached 8 million fans, a number that, according to the company, makes Ferrari “the leading player in the automotive sector and the most popular in the general classification”
The clip actually shows a 458 Italia that “draws” the number 8,000,000 on the steering pad at the Fiorano race track. We’re not sure if the car actually creates each digit, but the result is extremely fun to watch anyway.
Before we go, we have to tell you that Audi also used this method of celebrating a Facebook milestone, using an R8 for the job and so did Mercedes' AMG, which drifted the Corkscrew to thanks fans for helping it reach 2M Youtube views.
