Like the McLaren P1, which is supposed to be sold out within weeks, Ferrari's latest weird-named supercar is said to sell all of its 499 cars in no time.
Undoubtedly the most awaited 2013 Geneva Motor Show car, the LaFerrari attracted huge crowds and will continue to do so in Switzerland. While 499 units is not what we would normally describe as huge, it's quite a big number for a $1.57 million (EUR1.2 million) priced automobile.
Selling everything is just a matter of time according to the Maranello-based company, who has more than 500 exclusive customers to introduce the LaFerrari to.
"We are in the process of talking to our 700 most exclusive customers, and when that process is over we expect to have sold all 499 cars," said Ferrari marketing boss Nicola Boari, according to Autocar.
As things stand, it shouldn't be too long until we need to write that "La Ferrari's Sold Out" bulletin. Let's see if the Prancing Horse beats McLaren P1 to it...
