If there ever was a car that needs to be seen in 1080 HD all the time, it's the LaFerrari. This thing is simply gorgeous, an eventful design that stands out, even in the face of similarly conceived hypercars from Porsche and McLaren.
Seeing it cruising the streets of Monaco is not going to be special for too long. But Ferrari hasn't cranked out enough examples to fill the streets of the Playboy country, so for now, this is rarer than an Enzo.
Design-wise the LaFerrari is a manifesto for Ferraris next design language. You'll see it on the 458 Italia's replacement. To come up with the perfect design, the Italians made three 1-to-1 models by themselves and had two more made by Pininfarina. One of the, we don't know which, is being kept secret and will be used to spawn another one-off based supercar.
The one they put into production is strong and futuristic, boldly taking Ferrari design to the next level. The unique stingray-like design doesn't take too many quotes from the Enzo or F1 cars, though Ferrari designs only know how to draw one thing, which is still a Ferrari.
With 963 hp pushing around a body that weighs just 1,345 kilograms, the LaFerrari isn't really designed for the streets. But the temptation of taking one of just 499 through the Monaco tunnel is too great.
