Some drivers seem not to care about their safety or the safety of others, at all. This Russian driver takes his Lada on the highway, yet he somehow ends up on the wrong side, in oncoming traffic. In the video posted here, cars can be seen veering violently out of the way.
We suspect drinking may have something to do with the incident, or drinking and an expat from the UK, who had not driven a car on the right side before. We are curious if, within a few days, a video showing the same driver crashing into another car (or cars), further down the road, as it is very likely that there are more drivers with dash-mounted cameras on that highway - there are a lot of them in Russia, it seems, mainly to avoid insurance scams.
We hope the driver got off the road safely, because this moment of sheer stupidity could have cost himself and others their lives, especially at highway speeds!
