When Kia introduced the c’eed back in 2007, the car had a very important mission: to close the gap between the South Korean automotive producer and its C segment European rivals. This was no easy task, as established competition, such as the VW Golf or the Opel Astra, had been dominating the market for years, but the vehicle has proved that it has a lot to offer.
It is now time to meet the second generation of the cee'd, a vehicle that wants German rivals to be afraid of it. Kia has relaeased the first photo of the new cee'd today, with the vehicle scheduled to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in Macrch.
As you can see, we are now dealing with a sporty silhouette, which means that the South Korean model can now target vehicles such as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and the Seat Leon. Kia hasn’t revealed any photo of the interior, but the carmaker did mention the fact that we’ll get a driver orientated center console, among others.
The second generation of the Kia cee'd is scheduled to hit the market in June this year.
