Kia’s British division has recently announced the pricing for the new Optima, a vehicle that’s set to enter the market on February 1st. The vehicle will be launched with a 1.7-liter diesel engine that delivers 134 bhp at 4,000 rpm and 325 Nm (239 lb-ft) of torque between 2.000 and 2,500 rpm. This can be mated to a six-speed manual or to a six-speed automatic.
If you opt for the manual, you also get a series of tweaks aimed at reducing fuel consumption, such as a stop & Go system, a few aerodynamic tweaks, as well as electronic modifications for the ECU and climate control systems.
This version returns an efficiency of 57.6 UK mpg and emits 128 grams of CO2 per km, while the automatic comes with an efficiency of 47.1 UK mpg and emits 158 grams of CO2 per km.
Customers can choose between three trim levels: 1, 2 and 3, with the second one coming in two versions: “luxe” and “tech”. The Kia Optima can be yours for a price of GBP19,595, with the pricing climbing up to GBP25,995.
