Kawasaki are touting the new 2013 ZX-6R as a big improvement over the old model, using ‘more advanced’ to describe pretty much every aspect of the bike, when comparing it to the old one. The bike is not only lighter, has a more advanced front fork, but also features a larger 636cc engine, which pumps out 129 hp at 13,500 rpm.
We say it is also a great looking bike, with design inspired by Kawasaki’s larger offerings, as well as having its own flavor and its own distinct image. The bike also features revised brakes, as well as a new rear shock absorber, which coupled with the compliancy advantage given by the new fork, allows the rider to benefit from the bike’s performance, in a diverse array of weather conditions.
