The warm winds of Spain have brought in some very interesting whispers to the snow-clad north, and one of them has to do with a possible change of teams for the 2-time World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, also the 2013 runner-up.
2014 will be a very interesting year for MotoGP, as the contracts of the top riders reach their end. We're looking at Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi. Marquez' 2-year contract will also end, but as he has just become the world's youngest champion ever, we bet his Honda seat is safe.

However, the rest of the guys are free to make some changes. Honda has previous talks with Lorenzo dating back to 2012, and we might see Nakamoto-san inviting the Cobra over a tea again.

According to Mas Moto, Lorenzo was quite calm when asked about the potential move over to Honda. He said that both he and the team were very happy with the 2013 results, and that the bik he's riding is very competitive.

It it wasn't for his own mistakes, the 2013 season could have been even tighter, even though he acknowledged Marquez' error at Mugello and his team's huge mistake at Phillip Island.

The Mallorcan also declared that he's not into simply changing the make of the bike, and there are many other factors to be considered. He did not, however, expressly deny the possibility of making a move in 2015.

Wonder what Pedrosa and Yamaha are thinking right now...
