The German magazine Motorrad have gotten their hands on several spy photos which show what could be the new quarter-liter bike Triumph is preparing for 2015.
Now, the motorcycle appears to be a down-scaled Daytona, which means that Triumph will be entering the small-displacement sport bike fray, together with the rest of the manufacturer who are already making nice money from this segment.
The bike is a 100% Triumph project, and it looks like it will be powered by a liquid-cooled single engine rumored to peak at 29 hp.
Other whispers in the industry mention another small-displacement bike which is in preparation, but while some say it will be a naked sporty machine, others claim we're getting a small "modern classic."
There's no certainty in the "Daytona 250" denomination now, even though this name looks like a natural one. With the new Triumph manufacturing plant still in construction and the bike appearing to be really close to a production stage, we're kind of wondering what has Triumph announced these new models for 2015...
